 How to dedicate a song? Tips for easy use of service
What is Song dedication over IVR service?
banglalink launches for the first time in Bangladesh Song dedication service over IVR (Interactive Voice Response). Through this service, any banglalink customers may dial a short number 4226 (GAAN), browse and select a song from the list of available category of songs and send it to any mobile number immediately or in a specific time and date. This dedication is sent without any additional cost- only browsing charge is applicable. A customer may also add his/her personal voice message for 15 seconds to be sent with the song.
How to dedicate a song?
- Dial 4226 (GAAN) from your banglalink handset.
- Choose the desired language,

2. English
- After language selection, choose the appropriate songs category from the list,
1. Bangla songs
1. Band songs (Cholo bodle jai, Tarai tarai roteo debo, Firio dibo, Mon shudhu mon chuyeche, sheje boshe ache... etc)
2. Modern songs (Krishna, Ami shunechi shedin tumi, Ekdin pakhi ure jabeHabib, Mousumi bhoumik, Akbar... etc)
3. Love songs (Ami to preme proi ni, Mon kije chai bolo, Shoroter protima... etc)
4. Birthday & greeting (Happy birthday to you, Holud bato, Jodi bou shajo go... etc)
5. All times hits songs (O re nil doria, Aha aji e boshonte, Laily tomar, Tin pagole holo mela... etc)
2. English songs
1. Birthday & greetings (Happy birthday, Don't worry be happy, Leaving on a jet plane... etc)
2. Rock & pop (It's my life, Heaven, Temple of the king... etc)
3. Love songs (Hello is it me, I love you more than, Annies song... etc)
4. World Hits (Macarena, Ole ole ole, Bailamos... etc.)
5. Instrumental (Richard Clayderman, Yanni, Kenny G... etc)

1. Film songs (Dus, Aashiq, Kal ho naho... etc)
2. Classic songs (Mehdi Hasan, Kishore Kumar, Lata, R.D Burman... etc)
3. Love songs (TuTumse milke, Humko tumse pyar, Nahi rakhta dil... etc )
4. Indipop (Kya surat hai, Lamhey, Channa ve... etc)
5. New arrivals (Halka halka, Aaja soniya, Aashiq banaya... etc)
- Select a song.
- Add your voice message up to 15 seconds after the BEEP tone and press hash (#) after recording.
- You may send the song immediately or choose specific time and date to dedicate the song.
Send the song to a banglalink number.

Tips for easy use of service
How do I select a song to dedicate?
When you enter the songs category, do the following:
- Press 1 for the previous song
- Press 2 to select the song
- Press 3 for the next song
How do I send my own personal voice message with the song?
After song selection, press 1 to record your voice up to 15 second after the BEEP and press (#) to finish.
- Press 1 to listen to your recorded message
- Press 2 to re-record your message
- Press 3 to accept the recorded message
How to enter the number where I want to dedicate a song?
- After song selection you will hear the announcement "Please dial the number where you want to send the song"
- Type the number where you want to dedicate the song
- Wait for the validation.
- If your entered number is valid you will hear "The number you have dialed is [number]"
- Other wise for invalid entry you will hear "You have dialed an invalid number" and it will allow you to re-enter the number.
How to dedicate a song in a specific time?
After entering the mobile number where you want to dedicate the song you will hear;
press 1 to send the song immediately,
press 2 to send the song in a specific time. When you hear the voice "Please type the specific time in hhmm format" type the time in the following way,
For Hour 2 digits 00 to 24
For Minute 2 digits00 to 59
Example: If you want to dedicate a song at 07:30 PM (evening), in 24 hour format you have to type 1930
If your entered time is valid you will go to the next step to enter the date and if it is invalid you will hear "Sorry this is an invalid time" and it will allow you to re-enter the time.
How to dedicate a song in a specific date?
After entering a valid time, you will hear "Please type the specific date in DDMMYY format" i.e. the service will allow you to enter the date in the following format,
1st 2 digits (Day) - 01 to 31
2nd 2 digits (Month) - 01 to 12
3rd 2 digits (Year) - 05 to 99
Example: If you want to dedicate a song on 6th July 2005, in DDMMYY format you have to type 060705
If your entered date is valid you will hear "Press 1 to accept, 2 to edit the delivery time & date or
9 for previous menu" and if it is invalid you will hear "Sorry this is an invalid date " and it will allow you to re-enter the date.
