Subscribing to a new Post-Paid New Connection
Follow the Steps to subscribe a banglalink New connection,

Steps:
    1. Please visit our Sales & Care Centre or any of our authorized Exclusive sales Outlet.
    2. Fill up the banglalink Subscription Agreement Form (SAF). Submit necessary documents and pay required fees and charges to collect SIM card.
    3. You should retain bank-in-slip or invoice for future reference. Minimum 48 hours will be required to be connected post paid connection.
We would request you to submit the following documents for subscribing a banglalink connection:

Documents required to buy:
    1. 1. Two copies of passport size photograph
    2. Copy of any utility bill copy to prove address.
    3. Photocopy of Valid Photo ID (Driver's License, Voter ID, Gun License, Passport or other valid photo ID)
    4. In case you do not have a valid ID, properly attested BTRC Certificate 2006 (A) is required.
Documents you receive after you subscribe:
    1. Invoice / Money Receipt of respective package price
    2. Subscription Agreement Form (Blue copy)
    3. Other if any
    4. Please preserve your received documents for future reference
SIM Replacement
SIM Replacement Procedure

In case of SIM card is lost/ stolen (not found) or the SIM card gets disabled or damaged for any reason, then the subscriber needs to purchase a new SIM card against his/ her subscription.

Steps:

Documents Required
    1. Passport sized Photograph (One Copy but not mandatory)
    2. Photocopy of SAF (Blue Copy)/Passport/Voter ID/Driving License/Bank Certificate
    3. GD Copy (if lost/stolen) or SIM Card (if blocked/damaged/faulty) *In absence of GD copy, we might give the option of verifying customer genuineness through call details and other available means.
    4. Authorization letter with Original Customer's Signature (For authorized person)
Fee/Charges: SIM Replacement Fee- Tk. 75

Activation of the new SIM card is subject to signature verification and may take 2-4 working hours
Transfer Of Ownership
For individual Customers:
Reconnection

Service will be automatically barred (outgoing calls) without any prior notice if the accumulated charges (Previous due+ Unbilled call Charges) or the current month's unbilled amount exceeds the security deposit. A call barred /Disconnected service can be reconnected by paying the payment due and sending the payment information in banglalink customer service. Please be sure that you have paid the amount that brings the present due under existing deposit.

Change of Address

banglalink customers can change their billing address. To Change the billing address, please follow the steps

Steps:

    1. Fill in the prescribed form or write to us on a plain paper/ company letterhead pad with your valid signature mentioning name of the customers with mobile number, desired new billing address in details, old address and contract number
    2. Send the letter/form through fax or postal delivery or submit at the nearest Sales & Care Centre.
    3. Change of Address is subject to signature verification. Signature should be same as provided on the subscription form. The letter/form shall be treated as rejected if the signature does not match or the information is found to be incorrect.
Change of Number
Customer can change his or her service numbers with a payment of Tk. 575/- .For number change please follow the steps:

Steps:
    1. Customer himself/herself or authorized representative must come to CCC
    2. Fill up the prescribed form.
    3. Pay charge at banglalink CCC or banglalink's authorized bank using banglalink Payment Slip.
Documents Required for Original Customer
    1. Passport sized Photograph (One Copy)
    2. Photocopy of SAF (Blue Copy)/Passport/Voter ID/Driving License/Bank Certificate
    3. GD Copy (if lost/stolen) or SIM Card (if blocked/damaged/faulty)
    4. Authorization Letter with Original Customer's Signature.
Fee/ charges: No Process Fee.
Itemized Bill

This service gives a post paid subscriber a detailed list of all chargeable number dialed, the date & time, duration and charge of calls upon your prescribed requisition. Kindly give your requisition for itemized bill one month before the requested bill period. The usage /charges in the Itemized Bill are shown without calculating the 15%VAT.

How to Get an Itemized Bill:

Fee / Charges: The charge of both each Itemized Bill on demand (for a particular month) and regular itemized bill is Tk. 100

Cancellation of regular Itemized Bill would come into effect from the following month's bill after the cancellation request is received.
Bill payment Through Credit Card
For convenience, banglalink subscribers can make payment via credit card (Master/ VISA) at our Customer Service Centers.
Package Migration

After verification of customer genuineness the support service unit will upgrade the package. Generally customers can upgrade his/her package. Normally package down gradation i.e. from standard to mobile-to-mobile BTTB incoming is not encouraged if not decided otherwise by Manager-CSD. Package migration is now possible in both postpaid and prepaid. However, in prepaid regular prepaid customers only can migrate to Ladies First or belinked. It is not possible for Ladies First customers to migrate to belinked or vice versa.

SIM Replacement Through Fax
Incase of a phone Lost/ SIM cards stolen

In case a Pre Paid subscription is lost or stolen by any means, immediately inform us in writing through our Fax numbers mentioning the followings:
  • Subscriber's mobile number, name and address
  • The reason & request for temporary suspension
  • Contact number
  • Signature of the subscriber (as singed on the subscription form)
  • Copy of the subscription form
Please contact Call Center 121 for further query or assistance. The service shall be suspended/ barred on receiving/ verifying the particulars. However, banglalink will not be responsible for a lost/ stolen or any subsequent fraudulent use of the mobile phone/ SIM card or the remaining balances unless the subscriber follows the procedure above.

Restoration process for a lost or stolen Phone/SIM

If the lost/ stolen Pre Paid mobile phone/ SIM card is found, please inform us in writing with your valid signature (as signed on the subscription form) and a copy of the subscription form to reconnect the subscription. The service shall be restored upon signature verification. In case the mobile phone/ SIM card is not found, you need to collect a new SIM card against the subscription through SIM Replacement procedure. Please collect a new SIM card and recharge the account before the expiry period of the account. (within 6 months after the validity period of the last scratch card)

Re-Registration

A terminated customer can revive his/her service. For Re-Registration please follow the steps:

    1. Original Customer
    2. Subscription Agreement Form (Blue Copy) / Invoice Copy
    3. Passport sized Photograph (2-Copy)
    4. Passport/Voter ID/Driving License/Bank Certificate/Gun license
    5. Old SIM Card
Call Barring From Handset

Call Barring allows you to bar any specific type of calls from your mobile phone. For example, if you want to bar all outgoing calls or ISD outgoing calls from your connection, you can bar these calls from your handset. When you bar calls from your handset, banglalink will bar calls as per your setting.

Call Barring allows you to selectively bar outgoing and /or incoming calls. You can restrict incoming calls (completely or only when roaming) or outgoing calls (completely, international calls only when roaming).

Fees / Charge: No Process Fee.
