Waleed joined banglalink with over 15 years of IT experience, six of which were spent in various IT management positions with Vodafone, Egypt where he joined as part of the launch team in 1998.

Non-Telco experience includes over nine years in various IT environments including a European financial organisation (Ford Credit Europe Plc.), regional information technology software development and training institutions (RITSEC and RITI), the Egyptian Cabinet’s Information & Decision Support Center (IDSC) as well as three British Universities (Middlesex, University College London and City University).

Educated to post graduate level, Waleed holds a MSc. in computer science from the City University, London ('90) and an Engineering degree from Loughborough University, UK ('88).
