Prior to joining the banglalink team, Omer Rashid spent almost four years in Mobilink (Orascom Telecom's operation in Pakistan) where he was looking after Marketing Strategy and Planning.
Omer has a diversified background as he started his career as an engineer having specialized in feedback control systems. After working as a Systems engineer in a Research & Development (R&D) organization for over three years, he decided to pursue an MBA degree in marketing. He then joined Nestle's brand management team and managed the NESCAFE brand for a year and a half, before joining Mobilink in 2001.
