1. Select 'Menu'
2. Choose 'Settings'
3. Select 'Phone Settings' or 'Network Settings'
4. Select 'Network Selection',
5. Select 'Manual'
6. The Handset will display a list of available networks.
7. Select any network which is not listed as Forbidden.
8. Once the network name is displayed on your handset screen, your phone is ready for roaming.
Note: This process may vary depending on the model of your handset. See the handset manual or ask banglalink Customer Care for assistance.
In some countries, you may need to activate PIN code request and use special PIN code (11234) or select "Roam" from the Banglalink SIM Menu (Menu). Please call our helpline for assistance in using the STK.
after returning to Bangladesh
If you have activated the PIN code request or used the SIM menu while abroad, please use "1234" as the PIN code or select "menu->banglalink->roaming->Banglalink" from the SIM Menu after returning to Bangladesh.
This is very important.

Useful tips
Save Customer Care numbers
Save the Customer Care number +880 191 304 122 or +880 2 988 8370 in your mobile phone in case you need assistance from abroad.
banglalink fax number +880 2 986 2607, and
Roaming support e-mail address: ir@banglalinkgsm.com
Save phone numbers in international format
We recommend that you store phone numbers in the phone book or handset memory as per international format; e.g. +880 2 988xxxx. In this way you can make your local or international calls unrestricted.
Remember to exclude the leading zero (0) of the area code. For example, with Bangladesh country code being 880, Dhaka area code being 02, Dhaka numbers are usually dialed as 02 988xxxx. So, when you call Dhaka number from UK, you should dial +880 2 988xxxx (omit the '0' in front of Dhaka area code '02').
Call Barring
From your handset, you can implement call barring for incoming/outgoing calls (if the roaming partner offers this service to its subscribers, and is as per roaming agreement).
Lost/Theft
In case of lost/theft phone, subscriber should immediately send a fax at +880 2 986 2607 stating "Suspend/Bar Request" with subscription particulars like name, billing address, mobile no. and valid signature. You may contact banglalink through Customer Care Hotline or E-mail in case of any difficulties.
